  We used to go to the Clinton Station Diner all the time. My son loved trains and the Diner has plenty of train memorabilia and an old passenger car where you can enjoy your meal. But we got tired of the place. We stopped in the other day.
  
  A great bacon omelette for my son, well done home fries and a properly toasted english muffin. Fish and chips (seasoned waffle fries) for me. A to go chicken Caesar wrap for my wife. Service was awesome. Very attentive. The food was great. No complaints. Plenty of coffee and lemonade refills.
  
  So, I think it is safe to say that this diner will go back in the rotation.

  Normally, if I have one bad experience at a restaurant I try to give them a second chance before I write a negative review because sometimes people/places have an off day.
  
  Unfortunately, here I am.
  
  My family's (2 adults/2kids)first time here was on a weekday at a weird hour like 3:45pm or something like that. There were only a handful of tables filled (if that)... The food was "okay"... wasn't the best but wasn't terrible. We were all a bit gassy afterwards but hey it happens once in a while. However, our waitress Wesley was distracted & chatty with her peers instead of focusing on bringing us mall plates for our appetizers, asking for refills... you know, her job. Trying to find her to ask for such things was a process in and of itself. As we were walking out I noticed the manager sitting at the bar doing paperwork. I explained to him the terrible service we received from Wesley and he even admitted he noticed she was distracted etc etc.
  
  Fast forward to our second time here... somehow we ended up with Wesley AGAIN... there were 8 of us this time. Now, this may not be her fault (I truly believe it was managements)... they freaking out a round table and a square table together for 8 people. Two of which barely had any place to eat their food because of the non existent space between the two different shaped tables. Ok, back to Wesley again... my grandpa asked for bread for the table after noticing all the other tables were getting them. She brought bread. Again, no plates to eat off of. We waited about 10 minutes (ultimately ate our bread off napkins) before we flagged down another server to grab us plates.
  
  Not once during our entire meal were empty glasses or plates removed from the table. When I say the service is terrible here. It's an understatement. And to be quite honest the manager is a prick. He just doesn't seem to really give a flying f***. Won't be coming back.

  Silverware and dishes had food stuck to them. Asked for new silverware - same problem! I told the waitress but she did not seem surprised nor did she seem to care.
  
  Salad bar is always filthy and I felt sick as a dog after

  I'm excited there is a place open past 8 PM and owned by Greeks. Sorry, they are some of the best cooks. I also know everything is made fresh so... even better reasons to come. The place is a tad tricky to get to. It's off they highway but the road is a tad tricky there so be aware it continues then just dumps you into the parking lot. It is freezing inside as well, or the night I went but I'm from the south so I always bring a jacket with me up here.
  
  Ordered the stuffed portabella mushrooms. (Stuffed with spinach and feta cheese). These things were huge and covered with cheese. I think there were 2 large caps under all of that. I could've swam in that dish! Yum!
  
  Then ordered the Sicilian. Chicken parm like sandwich with eggplant. It was... meh. Ate everything separate the next day and it was better that way.  Not enough sauce but taste was good. Got the fries with it and asked for crispy well done... they were cooked a tad too much but guess that was my fault.
  
  Went up to pay and saw the dessert counter. Holy crap! Yup, this is why I'm fat. I have no will power. Funny thing is, I dont even like desserts that much. Got a chocolate box to go. They guy at the counter said it had mousse (yum!!!)strawberries and a chocolate cake under with whipped cream on top.
  
  This is where I was slightly disappointed. There were no strawberries they were cherries. I love cherries but ones I eat fresh with the steam. The chocolate was dark and so good. Took me 2 days to eat this but wow! I enjoyed every bite.

  Very okay food
  
  Came here Sunday morning and it was not busy, but it felt like service was a little slow
  
  I'm assuming this was the manager sat at the bar doing paperwork and everyone seemed to be in edge so the guy could use a chill pill
  
  The food was okay... Got the corned beef hash and eggs and it was not seasoned at all and the sausage from my children's plate was bland as well
  
  If you are hungry, this is a great place for large portions but don't expect a flavorful experience
